This is very cheering AND makes the body get a’movin’! Thank you for posting it!
There are many amazing lines in this song…but I really like the line “…you’re the reason for my stories…” That is such a beautiful part of loving someone and having them love us, too. They become a part of our best, most important stories.

However, I would translate “quiero abrazarte” as “I want to embrace you” or “I want to hold you.” The first is more dignified, the second more romantic. “I want to hug you” reminds me of a creepy dude who attended our church in California for a while; he always wanted hugs from a beautiful young (married) woman. Of course YOU don’t have those associations–but still, “hug” is used more for family & friend embraces.
@RuthG - Yeah, I know, it was late and I was in a hurry and “hug” was kind of amusing as a literal translation. I think “hold” is appropriate given the “I’m not your owner” theme.

@Roadkill_Spatula - Your site is completely plain with the green header thing up top (where the drop down choices are) when I’m at an entry. When I click on your name to go back to your front page the few most recent posts are listed by title and a few words. Then under that the pulses by a few words and date. Then photos with dates are listed under that. Maybe you are using a different format. After all I wasn’t on Xanga at all for about a month. I’ve been pretty sporadic for awhile. …. Maybe other sites are the same way & I haven’t noticed.
@peacenow - Yeah, my front page looks like that. It has never been very interesting. I usually go straight to people’s posts instead of their front pages. Maybe Xanga took you there by mistake? Or did you click on my name or picture?
@Roadkill_Spatula - It’s funny I never noticed before. I think I typically go straight to a post from my subs but if I think I may have missed a post then I click on the name to see if there may be another I want to comment on. That’s mostly likely what I did.
