Where it all started
On November 24, 2010, Alicia and I sat down at a table in this little restaurant (Las Cazuelas in the Unicentro mall) and didn’t get up for three hours. By the end of that conversation, we were each convinced that the other was a truly remarkable person.

such a romantic! I love it when my husband remembers something like that.
Nice long conversations with the one you love are awesome. I’m glad yours turned out so well.
Like I said on this post in that other place…very romantic. Sigh. Hope you two are having fun!!!HUGS!!!
Did the two of you spend some time there again?
@WildWomanOfTheWest - Actually we haven’t been back. We keep meaning to.
and your life was forever changed…
*thumbs up*
Three hours!? That’s a long time to wait for a simple steak, medium rare, even down there on the continent that done stole our name….Seriously, ‘tout sweet’, as others have said.I can of course paraphrase:”On April 21, 1978, I sat down at a table to play some game with dice i forget the English name of., “Shesh-besh’) With a girl wearing a white dress. After we rolled 16(!) straight double-sixes we were both convinced that something remarkable was in the offing. I’ve been in love with her now for 35 years and counting. What’s the probability of that!Actually, you now ‘have’ to stick with Alica. Not that I have any doubts. google has you-uns cached as a couple, like it or not.
And they lived happily ever after. Sigh, what a beautiful love story.
@jsolberg - Actually what we consumed during those three hours was tea and a single roll that the grocery store had given us as a sample.
And, you were both right.
This place and the memories it contains for you and Alicia, will never be forgotten.
