In the arctic, the foxes hunt lemmings — they listen to the ground or the snow until they can be sure where the lemming is, and then jump and pounce on the lemming. They’re quite amusing! I don’t think I’d want to join them, though!
I’ve seen a video of a fox hunting in the snow. It’s fascinating.
