Tampa house offer approved!!
Last night I checked e-mail and found two messages from our realtor. The bank accepted our offer! It means a lot of work now, updating the loan application, getting inspections, etc. Not to mention scrounging money together for the down payment.
I have a lot to do here yet, too. Today I'm packing more stuff to take to the storage unit. Packing the garage is going to be the biggest hassle. Probably a lot more stuff will get thrown out or given away. There are repairs on the house I'd like to do, but I'm not going to have time. I'll have to farm out cleaning and painting, to be done after I leave.
I also got my official transfer to the Tampa office yesterday.
So I'm happy, but I'm stressed.
Hoping you are the same, I remain, sincerely yours,
Tim

I'm feeling more relaxed about things. I think what feels most overwhelming is the garage, which has five years' accumulated construction detritus and tools and parts. But once I dig into it, it'll be fine, and I'm going to try to get some help. The money is also a worry but it will work out in due time.
